Psoriasis Awareness Week is fast approaching with this year’s event running from Wednesday 29th October to Tuesday 4th November 2025 with the theme ‘Comorbidities of Psoriasis’.
Comorbidities are the presence of one or more additional diseases or disorders that occur in someone, alongside already living with psoriasis.
This includes conditions such as Psoriatic Arthritis, Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes and the mental health impact that living with psoriasis may have including low self-esteem, feelings of isolation and loneliness and anxiety and depression.
The Psoriasis Association will have a number of new resources, advice and information that we will share during the week as well as number of ways you can take part. You can:
- Download the Digital Toolkit to show you support on social media
- Put on purple for World Psoriasis Day, Wednesday 29th October by wearing the Association’s favourite colour and using the hashtag #OhSoPurple
- Join the Instagram Live Q&A sessions (@psoriasisuk) on Monday 3rd November at 6.30pm where Rheumatologist, Professor Laura Coates will be answering your questions arising from the HPOS Study (@hpos_study). Join the Psoriasis Association on Instagram to have your PsA questions answered.
- Take part in the virtual coffee morning via zoom on Friday 31st October at 11am. This will be a relaxed, informal chance for anyone to be able to hop on the call and connect and chat to others who are also living with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. Grab a drink and some snacks and join us. Register for the zoom call.
- Join the free webinar event in collaboration with St John’s DermAcademy on Thursday 6th November at 6pm: ‘Weight Matters in Psoriasis: Understanding the link between body weight and psoriasis’.
