Almost 250,000 children and young people under 16 in the UK have a long-term musculoskeletal condition. The inquiry identified some specific issues for children in relation to inequalities. Specialist children’s services also face particular challenges in addressing these due to the wide catchment areas they serve.
Published evidence on children’s health inequalities in relation to MSK conditions is limited. Here you will find resources and information related to children and young people and MSK health inequalities. Resources will be added to this page as they become available.
