Local Services Project (England)

The Best MSK Health programme, the Major Conditions Strategy and the increasing awareness of the importance of MSK health have created a powerful driver for local NHS systems to improve their MSK services. ARMA wants to see local systems work to improve their MSK services and support in line with the principles of Best MSK Health:

  • A system wide approach including primary, secondary and community services
  • Co-production – involving people with lived experience and those who use MSK services in decision making.
  • Tackling health inequalities as part of the work

This project is for anyone who thinks more could be done locally to improve the MSK health of the population and would like to collaborate with others to support and encourage change. If you would like to be a constructive voice for change, please get involved.

UCB Pharma have provided funding for this initiative. UCB has not influenced or been involved in development of the content of the initiative.

Regional meetings

We will organise a series of virtual regional meetings to bring together people seeking to improve MSK services anywhere within that region. Meetings will be held on zoom and free to attend.

See more details of upcoming meetings.

Online resource

We have developed an online resource, using Trello, for people to share information and resources about MSK service improvement. If you would like access to the Board for your ICS you will need to register.

See more details of how to register.
