Dr Lesley Kay, NHS England National Clinical Director (NCD) for musculoskeletal (MSK), invites you to join our webinar on Thursday 6th March at 12.30 – 13.30 to discuss the GIRFT MSK community delivery programme.
The GIRFT MSK community delivery programme, funded by the Government’s Joint Work and Health Directorate (JWHD), is working to better enable integrated care systems to commission the delivery of high quality MSK services in the community, which will benefit patients now and into the future. Jean King Deputy Director for the JWHD Health division will join the session to explain this vision.
The focus is to reduce waiting times for community MSK appointments, to improve access to MSK treatment and support people back onto the path of employment.
In this webinar, Andy Bennett, GIRFT clinical lead for community MSK will introduce the programme and explain how it is being implemented with the support of the 7 regional clinical leads. Luke Martin, GIRFT senior operational manager will outline information about the resources available in an operational handbook to support community MSK leads and ICSs in the delivery of services. We will also hear best practice examples from regional MSK leads.
Please share this invitation with your colleagues working in community MSK services; service managers, commissioners, ICB leads, regional transformation leads, operational and clinical leads.
This webinar will be held on MS Town Hall. Please register and you will receive the joining link via separate email prior to the event.
