The Psoriasis Association sends a huge thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Psoriasis Awareness Week, which ran from October 28th to November 3rd. This year’s theme was ‘Community’ and highlighted the importance of connection and shared experiences.

This year for Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week 2024 (16-22 September) the theme was #STOPtheStereotype, focusing on dispelling the frustrating stereotypes that surround this incurable, invisible condition. The 450,000 people living in the UK with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) face people making assumptions about their condition, hearing comments along the lines of ‘you look fine how can you be unwell?’, ‘you are far too young to have arthritis’, ‘it’s just your joints getting old?’ amongst many others.


The National Orthopaedic Alliance will be holding its 4th NOA Annual Members Conference on 15 May 2025 at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre (BCEC).
Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK) and the National Institute of for Health and Care Research (NIHR) are co- hosting an online MSK Innovation Forum on 19th July 2024, that will bring together clinicians, engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs to discuss the MSK innovation challenge.
