NOA brings together orthopaedic community for annual members’ conference and awards

The National Orthopaedic Alliance (NOA) hosted its Annual Members’ Conference and Awards on 15 May 2025 at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre.

For the first time, the awards were fully integrated into the conference programme, creating a dynamic day of learning, sharing, and celebration. The event brought together clinicians, leaders, and professionals from across the orthopaedic community to explore innovations, tackle challenges, and highlight excellence in MSK care.

The AI Conference 2025

Registration is now open for the the BOA’s 2025 Conference – AI in Orthopaedics: Shaping the Future of Musculoskeletal Medicine.

Living Well with Arthritis: self-management event

Thursday 19th June 2025, 6.00-7.00pm

Arthritis Action is running its popular introduction to self-management event for those that are new to the concept. The online event will introduce and address topics such as: pain management, healthy eating & weight management, staying active, hobbies and social life, emotional wellbeing and pacing and distraction techniques.

Joint Venture gathering – save the date

Earlier this year, Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK) launched the Joint Venture, MSK Innovation Network – a community of people and institutions interested in innovation within MSK health including innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and investors. The aim is to build and nurture an engaged community that provides a forum for debate, a force for positive change (especially in tackling systemic barriers to innovation) and an incubator of new ideas and tangible solutions.

BOA Annual Congress 2025 – Early bird registration closing soon

The next BOA Annual Congress with the theme of ‘Preventing Harm & Transforming Lives’ is taking place in Liverpool on 16th – 19th September 2025.

BOA Congress registration is now open to both members and non-members. BOA members can register with a 100% discount on the ticket fee during the early bird registration period.

The NOA has revealed finalists for the 2025 NOA Excellence in Orthopaedics Awards, recognising outstanding contributions in orthopaedics. Winners will be announced at the NOA Annual Members’ Conference and Awards on 15 May 2025 in Birmingham.

The CPD certified conference, free for NOA members, brings together clinicians and healthcare professionals for a day of knowledge sharing, networking, and celebrating achievements. The agenda includes keynote addresses, award finalist presentations, and sessions from NOA networks.
