The Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine (SOMM) will be holding its Annual General Meeting online on Tuesday 27th February 2024 at 18.00.
This will be an exciting opportunity to find out more about SOMM as it moves forward in the MSK education space.
Nominations for election of Trustees to the Board (SOMM’s Council) are invited beforehand or may be tabled on the day.

There will be an exhibition entitled ‘The Future of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Health in the UK,’ which the Council For Osteopathic Education Institutes (COEI) is organizing in the Upper Waiting Hall, Palace of Westminster, between 4th and 8th of March 2024.

As the final draft of our report into the MSK health inequalities inquiry comes together, a few things have made me think about the importance of data.
First the good news. NHS England has published a statement on information on health inequalities. The Statement includes which information on health inequalities should be collected, analysed and published by NHS bodies in England. Sadly, it does not link to the conditions in the Major Conditions Strategy, so MSK is included only in the overall figures for elective care.…
