getUBetter shortlisted for HSJ Partnership of the Year award

HSJ bannerAfter deliberations on a record-breaking 1456 entries and 223 projects, teams and organisations have been shortlisted for the HSJ Awards 2023. One of the finalists is getUBetter, ARMA’s associate member organisation.

getUBetter’s work with South West London Integrated Care System and South West London NHS to deliver digital self-management support to their population has been shortlisted for the Partnership of the Year award at the HSJ Awards 2023, recognising their commitment to collaborative co-design with patient at the centre.

RA-UK Regional Anaesthesia Research PSP

Regional Anaesthesia Research flyer The RA-UK Regional Anaesthesia Research Priority Setting Partnership is a project aiming to establish the 10 most important research questions in regional anaesthesia. It’s vital that these questions matter to patients and healthcare professionals.

If you completed the initial survey, RA-UK is grateful for your support. Over 500 research ideas were collected from a wide range of people. The team then generated indicative questions based on themes of the suggested questions and subsequently performed a literature search to establish which of these questions were already answered.…

A four-day course focusing on the skills required in the 10-minute GP consultation.

Core Skills in Musculoskeletal Care – face to face

Self-management and health inequalities

I’ve been talking a lot about self-management recently. We’ve had conflicting views through our MSK health inequalities inquiry – does it help address inequalities or exacerbate them?

It seems that it partly depends on what you mean by self-management. One of our lived experience partners said, “self-management is code for you’re on your own.” There is some suspicion amongst both people living with MSK conditions and health care professionals that this is the case, which can lead to resistance to uptake in the NHS.…
