A large-scale evaluation of a community-based digital exercise programme for people with MSK conditions has demonstrated significant improvements in physical function, mental wellbeing, and healthcare cost-efficiency.

The intervention includes bespoke water- and land-based exercise sessions that adapt to each participant’s condition, goals, and feedback. The Good Boost cohort outcome measures were compared to more than 2,700 patients that received face-to-face Physiotherapy sessions.

While the clinical results speak for themselves, the bigger story is what Good Boost’s scalable and replicable model signals for the future of healthcare delivery, particularly the role of leisure infrastructure in supporting national health priorities.
