Head of Operations, National Voices

Full time, permanent, 35 hours a week, central London

£45,000 to £50,000, subject to skills and experience.

National Voices is the leading coalition of health and care charities in England, influencing policy and practice. We champion a strong patient and citizen voice in health, and the vital role of the voluntary sector. We are seeking a Head of Operations.

Serving 160 member organisations, we have a wide portfolio of membership, policy, advisory and project work. We enjoy a growing reputation among decision makers in government, the NHS and the wider health and social care worlds. With a team of just 9 people and an annual budget of about £0.6 million, we punch well above our weight, and that requires tight organisation.

The Head of Operations is a new role, designed to strengthen our capacity to operate sustainably and with impact in a complex and challenging environment for small national charities.

As a member of the senior management team, you will play a strategic role in ensuring that we are organised to meet our goals. You will be responsible for all our systems and processes, including finance, business planning, project management, IT, governance and contractor relations. You will have a record of achievement in a senior operational role, and be able to demonstrate drive, leadership, and excellent organisational ability. You will also have great people skills and relish working collaboratively in a small, friendly team.

To find out more about the role and to complete an application visit the Current Vacancies page on the National Voices website.

The deadline for applications is Friday 31st July 2015.
