NRAS- “Family Matters”

NRAS are launching the Family Matters report following their annual survey on the impact of someone’s RA on their close family members.

The full report is available from NRAS in hard copy at their Stand (17) at the BSR/BHPR conference in Glasgow May 1st – 3rd, or by calling 0845 458 3969 or visiting the website. Clare Jacklin Director of External Affairs will be presenting on the survey in the Oral Abstracts: Education session on Thursday 3rd May at the conference.

The key findings are not surprising but show the true extent of how a long term condition like rheumatoid arthritis can have on children, parents and partners of people living with RA. The report highlights impacts on financial stability, relationships, emotional wellbeing and social life.
