ARMA has been developing our new local networks since 2005 via our Department of Health-funded Local Networks Project.
We are currently starting up pilot sites across the UK to bring together patients and patient groups, clinicians and allied health professionals to work towards improving musculoskeletal service provision on a local level.
The Local Networks will
- Monitor local service provision
- Identify and campaign on local service issues using the ARMA Standards of Care and other policy initiatives
- Provide a shared forum for service users, providers and planners
