From John Wright of ARMA Birmingham

by Garreth

Dear All,

As convenor for the Birmingham group I had the pleasure of attending the BSR conference at the ICC Birmingham and being able to assist on the ARMA stand there. I met many interesting people and made new contacts which I hope will be beneficial to our group, it was also good to meet members of ARMA network groups from all over the country.
In all the whole event was first class and well worth the effort to attend.

June the 24th until the 30th will be Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness week sponsored and organised by our friends at NRAS. Various events are being organised that week to raise awareness for the approximately 690,000 people in the U .K. who suffer from this chronic illness. Here in the West Midlands we will have a stand for the whole week in Solihull library, which will have members on it each day with leaflets and information books about Rheumatoid Arthritis and the effects it has on patients lives. Our event will be attended throughout the week by local councillors and health professionals from Solihull Hospital.

Kind Regards,
John Wright, ARMA Birmingham
