  Coordinators’ Conference 2012

33 Volunteer group leaders from across the UK attended the annual NRAS Group Coordinators’ Conference on the 13th and 14th of June.

NRAS groups offer support to local people living with RA and are powerful patient voices across the nation in these challenging times of change. Patient power is alive and kicking in the world of rheumatology as you can see in this photo taken as the volunteers enjoyed a well earned break at the end of the first day. “Educated and empowered patients are key to successful disease self management and I am extremely proud of the work of our NRAS groups in supporting rheumatology teams around Britain in being key in helping to deliver continuous education and support”, said Clare Jacklin, NRAS Director of External Affairs.
