Musculoskeletal conditions are linked to deprivation, age, are more prevalent in women, and disproportionately affect some minority ethnic groups.  The profile of health inequalities is currently high, including the focus in the NHS on the Core 20+ approach.…

NRAS Champions’ Awards and Gala dinner

NRAS will be holding their 21st Anniversary Gala Dinner and awards ceremony in Windsor at the Castle Hotel on 9 September 2022.

This sold out event marks a significant milestone in the history of the charity. The night will be filled with music, food and dancing, featuring music from a live band: !daft! There will also be a raffle and an auction with fantastic prizes.

The latest NOA webinar focused on the orthopaedic surgery roll out of the National Consultant Information Portal (NCIP). NCIP, a secure online portal which enables NHS consultants and surgeons to review information about their clinical activity and benchmark patient outcomes, is currently being released across in England.

The webinar, which took place on 6 July 2022, featured guest speakers including Stephen Lowis, NCIP programme implementation and insights lead, NHS England and NHS Improvement joined by Deborah Higgs, NCIP orthopaedic clinical lead and clinical director specialist surgeries, consultant shoulder & elbow surgeon consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.…

NRAS JIA Awareness Week

13-17 June 2022

Less than a month to go – NRAS is running their first ever JIA Awareness Week. The campaign is all about #SameJIADifferentDay as it can be very frustrating for children, young people and even adults with JIA to keep explaining that JIA is a fluctuating condition, and some days are good, and some are bad. No two days are the same living with JIA.
